Introducing..

My new gadget.

EEEEeeeeek! I could not be more excited to be the proud owner

of this Canon!! I have had a Cool pix camera for years now and I have finally

upgraded.  You will no longer have to look at horrible pictures in my blog posts. Woohoo!

My sweet husband did this as my birthday present, and Christmas, and

every other holiday between now and my next birthday. Ha!

He said that after the past six months of craziness he wanted me to have something

that would be just mine and make me excited.  That's right, I got a good one :)

I am itching for Friday when school is out so KK and I can have a mini

photo shoot.  She is such a good sport for her mom.

Kindergarten

With kindergarten fast approaching we needed to

get KK's pictures taken.  Less than two weeks till out first day!

I feel completely blessed to be able to sit down with my

little girl on the first day of school and teach her.

Her mind is a sponge right now. It's so neat to see

her learn!

We needed a tall chair for KK to sit in during school.  Her small little legs

tend to start hurting when sitting at the table,

A few weeks back I was in my in-law's barn and spotted an old

chair.  It has been in the family awhile and I knew

it would be the perfect fit for KK's "school" chair.

Not only was it perfect for school but a super prop for pictures.

And we just HAD to throw an apple in there..

The frame? Just an old frame we painted,

then painted chalkboard paint on the glass

.

We had the best time taking these pictures! Thankful to sweet friends

who let us use their land to capture these 

sweet moments! If time keeps going fast, senior

pictures are just around the corner.

Sneek Peek: Kindergarten Pictures

 I can't believe school is about to start. It seems like yesterday we were saying how unbelievable it
 was that she was going to Pre-K. With school quickly approaching we just had to

get a mini shoot in.  Any excuse to get dressed up :)

Soon to be Kindergartener

We took KK out for some pictures when we went with the boys. We took her

preschool pictures in August...

She has grown.  Those jeans she is wearing, ya, we had to turn those

into capris, In DECEMBER. The girl wore them for five months before

her legs grew out of them!!!

Cousins

Last October-rish we took KK's and Huey's pictures. It's so hard to get pictures of them when we get together for birthdays/holidays. There are usually 3+ cameras and after about five minutes they are either ready to go play or the pictures you do get, each child is looking the same direction...here are the ones from October 2010...

It's so much easier to get a good picture when you give them something to play with...

Since these were taken there has been another cousin added on, Boston. Here are the May pics...

  I can't believe how much they have grown!!!       

This pool made us all get the summer itch...aaahhhh

We had a super time taking pictures. These kids were even better...sometimes I had to tell them NOT to pose :)

           

Feeling Pretty Old

 Seriously, I can't believe that my little sis is getting married! Sheesh, I feel old.  When KK was born she was in the 8th grade! Time has flown by. We got together this weekend for some pics.  These two were so hard to get a picture of.  I say smile, and they can't, I say don't smile they smile :)

We took a few in the field by their house to make it look a little more rustic

It's Twilight meets country.

Cannot wait till August for some wedding fun!!
