stART

After lots of research of curriculum I wanted to use for KK's Kindergarten year, I stumbled upon an amazing idea.  It's called stART. Art with a story.  It's simple and provides a way for the kid's to relate to the story they read.  We are now doing a stART activity once a week.  At our last trip to the library KK picked out one of her favorites...Goldilicious.  The gold, pink AND the unicorn. We love unicorns.

 

Our art project was a crown with glitter. Glitter is a little

girl's best friend :) I still find specks of glitter in her hair!

So use glitter in moderation.

We love stories and especially stories with art!
