Homemade Sidewalk Chalk

Have you seen homemade sidewalk chalk all over

the blog world?  I can't resist a simple DIY

and thought we should do it before all the warm weather is gone!

Recipe:

Muffin tin

1/4 cup COLD water

1/4 cup cornstarch

food coloring

paint brushes

Combine cold water and cornstarch in mixing bowl. Add a small amount of

food coloring. If you add too much food coloring it can stain your concrete...so

use food coloring at your own risk.

We practiced writing a few words she is learning to read.

By the end of it KK was using her brush and chalk to kill

unwanted ants.  We were letting the creativity flow for sure!
